Prince Keagan and Princess Kaelyn

Found these pictures taken 5 months ago....

and 5 months now....

Oh Chin Huat Hydroponics Farm

The talk on butterflies is rather informative. To my surprise, Keagan was keen and had no qualms about touching the scary-looking caterpillars. We did not complete the hydroponics tour though as it was simply too hot for both my darlings. Nevertheless the experience is fun :D

Hair-raising Issue

Kaelyn's crown of hair can be 'exasperating' at times... it got to a state where the hair at the top of her head would be standing on ends. To tidy her unkempt hair, Ah-mah and Mama decided to tie up her hair which brought us so much fun and laughter. Guess she enjoyed it too, looking at her gleeful smile...only that she didn't know better :P Her hair is now long enough to stay down. Hooray! Can't wait to plait her hair.

It started with a bun...

Then we figured it's better to have a brush....

...and two brushes are better than one!

Fascination with toes

Kaelyn is into grapping her toes and putting them into her mouth. She must have experienced alot of frustrations hence the complaints...if not...it's simlpy that her toes do not taste as good as she expects...LOL

Mamamamama

Haha...call it self fulfilling prophecy...training Kaelyn to call MAMA...which I believe she did...

Having brother and sister 5 yrs apart certainly has its benefits. Keagan being older and more sensible, is always ready to lend me a helping hand with the chores, errands and of course Kaelyn, who he has grown to love dearly. Guess it also helps that he is a sweet and helpful boy by nature.

Keagan had volunteered to read to Kaelyn to keep her occupied so that I can continue with my cooking. I feel truly blessed to have Keagan and there is certainly no regrets for not giving him a sibling earlier as during these five years, he has mummy's attention and love, all for himself. I am just glad that we decided to have Keagan much earlier than planned :D

Kaelyn at 5 months old

Kaelyn is exactly 5 months old today but the bad news is, she is ridden with fever and flu....Luckily, she does not have an issue with wearing the cool strip (which is god sent and a must have) and she is now getting better!
Amazingly, despite her fever, she still has a ready smile for everyone.

Keagan's Swimming Lessons

Keagan started his swimming lessons just last October and he is swimming well enough to join the better swimmers now. He can be seriously out of breathe as he swims the length of the pool in his pyjamas. Poor Thing :( but we told him that it is something that he will overcome eventually.

This is his first attempt with his pyjamas and he is required to tie knots at the ends and inflate the trousers as he jumps into the pool. Even though he did not really do it well but I still marvelled at the way he treads water....something that I can't do.... and the way he presents his inflated pyjamas to you...TATA!!!

His third attempt with the pyjamas is much more successful and I especially enjoy seeing him floating in water, with his head in between his trousers.

Fish Spa

Father and son tried out the new spa/massage parlour which was located near the entrance of the zoo yesterday. Daddy decided to pay $5 for a 10 mins fish spa for Keagan just for him to experience what it was like. After the treatment, Keagan claims that his feet are 'shinier' and daddy is also happy with his own shiny and smoother feet! Mummy didn't try as I rather put my money in a pedi and mani, which is more luxurious than having the fish nibble your dead skin. Besides, the fish can't paint your nails for you. :P
